"it certainly is very nice of him, mr. vector. mr. sonic is a very dependable sort of hedgehog. i can trust him and mr. shadow to look after cream, along with the others." vanilla allowed a soft smile to form as she placed the phone down.

"mister sonic said he could come over and watch cream," vanilla replied, placing the phone back on its stand. she slowly approached vector, a small smile on the corners of her mouth. "he'll probably be here in less than two minutes."

vanilla remained standing, hand resting upon the counter and watching shadow with an intensive gaze. she hummed. "yes. i would consider that very exciting, mister shadow. and, may i ask, who the lucky individual may be? do i know them?"

vanilla went to her home phone, picked it up, and nodded to the living room couch before phoning sonic. the gesture was towards vector, motioning him to sit down. "yes. hello, mister sonic. would you mind babysitting cream for me? really? i sincerely thank you for your kindness. i'll see you soon."

"what else have you been doing. . . . minus getting into fights with robots and wounded, mister shadow," she inquired, preparing herself some tea and sitting across from him while the water boiled. ". . . i do not mean to pry. feel free to talk about anything else."

"mmm. . . . i would have to find somebody to babysit cream, but that shouldn't be an issue. would you like to come in while i call some of cream's friends, mister vector?" the motherly rabbit stood aside so vector could enter the house. a smile remained on her features.
