we also have the "new" character Halmarut, who (if I rememb) back there was a specialist in plants/fungi… and Meracydia is said to have some of the biggest trees in Etheirys (Source)… so… well…

my dumb theory is just… patch 7.5 is called “Trail to the Heavens” > Heavens = Heavensward > Dragons = Meracydia (has a lot of dragons, right?!)... we also have Estinien appearing in the new patch key art after a long time… so Estinien = dragons… and dragons = Meracydia (makes sense, maybe?)

we’re just a few hours away till ffxiv fan fest starts, and I’ll say it again.. I really think and hope we go to Meracydia (please yoshi p) in this next expansion... or maybe another reflection too (why not both?)
