Ordered a salad at a restaurant recently & said I wanted the chicken to be left off because I don’t eat any meat except for fish, & the RESTAURANT OWNER came to our table to apologize because their whole menu has beef in it because they fry everything in beef tallow. Even the croutons on the salad.

Happy dreaded food holiday day! Everybody pls remember that indulging a little bit today is going to be better for our mental health in the long run one plate of food isn’t going to erase our progress.

not only is it disgusting, unglamorous, painful, and dangerous, it doesn't even work. you might get rid of ~50% of the c4ls but you also might lose teeth and damage your heart. it'll go up your nose and give you sinus problems. you'll pull muscles and your back/chest will hurt. and on and on.

Ve had oil free potatoes for five days in a row

Every time I’m sober I can’t imagine drinking, and every time I’m drinking I can’t imagine being sober. It feels like there’s two of me.

My problem with alcohol never resulted in severe withdrawals and sometimes I rationalize and find myself thinking that this means I don’t have a problem. My bank statement says otherwise, and so does my endless hangover, high resting heart rate, and constant diarrhea.

JP walked into the room and hijacked my phone call with my sister no less than three times to talk to her about music and we are actively on a video call going through our late grandma’s stuff like dude please read the room. So now he’s sad because I asked him to leave us alone.

Today’s potato is slightly bigger. Currently not weighing food or counting calls.

I keep waking up super early, like 6am early, and idk what to do with my time, but it’s not super frigid outside so I suppose I could take a walk but I think it’s supposed to rain

Update: they are in a foster home and we can’t meet them until after the food holiday is over because everyone is so busy and that makes sense to me so I can be patient. Currently clearing out a room to act as a transitional space just in case we do get approved to adopt 🤞

The fact that I’m going to the in laws’ house for the food holiday is good news because I care so much about what they think I’m very unlikely to binge 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 also sometimes the food they make is absolutely vile like they had this couscous salad one year and it was repulsive.

back on my sober bullshit and on track to end the year with more days spent sober than days spent intoxicated.

One of the things that pissed me off over the weekend was the fact that the fest had water refill stations with no lines, and the website advised people to bring empty water bottles, but people were still choosing to buy multiple cans of liquid death anyway. 😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐 wasting ur fucking money
