She hadn't realised that in the first place, but something didn't add up to her observation. "Wh... what in the.." She couldn't believe what she was seeing. There was no sign of a heart in his body. It had been carved out. But how was it possible?

"Do I?"

Vishanti’s lips curled into the barest hint of a smile, amused by his flattery, yet not so easily swayed by it. Words were like arrows—some struck true, some missed, and others were merely distractions.

Vishanti nodded in return, a quiet acknowledgment of his resolve. She saw it in his eyes—the same glimmer of determination that drove every warrior to keep moving forward, even when the path ahead was unclear.

Vishanti looked at the man, judging by his appearance, he was in his prime. But before she could say anything, he collapsed with a thud. "Are you alright?" She moved to his side, turning him over to see a fatal wound close to his heart. Her eyes carefully and quickly examined the wound.

"I watch over the city, it's people. I do not possess any intention of harming you." She replied, her eyes fixed on his sword. He held it with grace, but there was still hesitation in his grip. Too tight or too loose and he would lose.

Vishanti studied him for a moment, her sharp gaze not just seeing the words he spoke, but the quiet doubt behind them. The way his shoulders shifted, the way his breath seemed to catch just before his question left his lips.

Vishanti let the weight of his words settle, her expression unreadable. A serpent in a man's flesh. She had heard the whispers too—tales of a false prophet whose tongue dripped with poison, whose touch could rot the spirit of even the strongest warriors.

Vishanti listened without interruption, the wind rustling the leaves around them as Udo spoke. There was no pity in her gaze—only understanding. A lone warrior without a cause, fighting to keep moving forward. It was not unfamiliar to her.

Vishanti held his gaze, taking in the quiet strength behind his words. He was aware of his flaw—that was the first step to mastering it. "I am Vishanti, a warrior of my people, guardian of the old ways. Protector of the forests and it's inhabitants."

Vishanti watched from the cover of the trees, arms crossed over her chest as she observed the Dragonborn’s training. His movements were disciplined, powerful, but she caught the small hesitations—his tongue clicking in mild frustration when something was off. A warrior’s pride that she knew well.

Vishanti stood firm, her keen eyes studying the man before her. A lone wolf, he called himself—one who spoke with the tongue of a traveler yet carried the weight of a warrior. Her grip on the hilt of her sword tightened subtly, not out of fear, but out of instinct.

She watched his movements with her sharp eyes, seeing the way he gripped his sword. Her dark bronze skin glistening in the light of the moon, and her golden eyes staring him down with a dominating presence. "I am Vishanti, a warrior of my people, guardian of the old ways."

"I am well aware of that." She nodded, watching his movements.

"You speak of a quest. Yet you are uncertain." There was confusion and a lack of surety in his voice that Vishanti had noticed. A relic, south of the forest. That didn't quite add up to her. "Beyond this forest lies the desert, uncharted and never been crossed."
