Starting to play some Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky on my Retroid. I already love the atmosphere in this game so much. I only played a tiny bit of Explorers of Time way back when, so I'm basically experiencing it for the first time. It's such a charming game!

I do miss certain things from Legends: Arceus, but after playing Z-A for like 12 hours I gotta say that I'm enjoying it a lot so far! I dig the music, atmosphere and the combat. (and the fact that I can finally have a Mega Lucario again lol - yes I'm a basic bitch like that XD)

Man, Bubsy 4D already plays really, really well! They need to fix the default camera a little bit, but I can tell this game is going to be SATISFYING as heck to just move around in. And I got nostalgia tears when the remix of the SNES Bubsy menu theme started playing. 😭

I had one of these back in the 90s and I'm like 70% positive it should still be around somewhere. I know it's inaccurate nowadays, but it's still my favorite velociraptor design.

I do not wish to end, But I do wish a pause. A chance to mend, And apply some gauze. To take a break! And just breathe. To just shake All the rotten leaves. To free the tree of decay So it may bloom another day. All it needs is a little more time To give it all some reason and rhyme.

Digimon Story: Time Stranger has been a really good game so far. I do think that once it gets to the second half, it gets WAY better. Almost as if the early-mid game was neglected a bit. Once it gets going, it really gets going! I just HATE how cumbersome the personality system is to work with.

8k event completed yesterday! Ran together w/ my sister and we finished in just under 54 minutes. We already decided that we want to go again next year, and we're aiming for a sub-50 time. I wish I could run around the ring road in my city more often haha.

I finally beat both Baldur's Gate 3 and Mass Effect 3 today. Holy crap. BG3 took me 2+ years to finally get there (398 hours and multiple half-finished campaigns before I stuck with one lmao). And I've been slowly going through the Mass Effect series w/ Redd since the start of this year.

It also wouldn't hurt to look at your phone usage and reduce that. I'm nowhere near perfect, but I try to keep my usage low. Not saying you need to be *as* disconnected as me, but be honest: how many of you are under, say, an hour daily?

I have lots of opinions on this, but generally speaking I think we should focus more on NOT avoiding critical thinking and most types of chores and challenges. The main reason: Relying too much on tools to do things for you will literally hamper your cognitive abilities in the long run. 🧵
