Today's trails: Wonder and Wasabi (breaking the Alice theme this time). Wasabi is primarily a downhill mountain bike trail so it's a bit steep and sketchy for hiking. I did not hit the snow line but it did flurry on me just a bit at the top. #trail

Today’s trail: almost above the fog. I have done a lot of hiking this week and my knees are looking forward to a day off.

Today's trail: The greenway bike path, in the fog. It's flat and noisy and kind of boring but a good change of pace from the 40% grade hikes in the woods I do most of the time.

Today's Trail: I hiked the full length of the Snark trail which was long but not super long (6 miles) and very steep. Came back down on the Red Queen trail, the theme continues. When I was done Apple fitness suggested that my workout was "Hard" and I cheerfully agreed.

When we designed this house last year I thought these windows were going to be way too tall, that they would show too much sky and not enough mountain. Now that I have slept in this bedroom for a month I have realized: - There is still plenty of mountain. - Too much sky is completely OK.

Today's trail: started out with a lot of stairs, and got steeper from there. Here's the nearly vertical trail next to some boulders where I realized I had made a mistake and I needed to backtrack.
