Is Nancy a bad manager? No. I suspect he’s a stubborn one who has been sold a false bill of goods by an inept board. That doesn’t excuse a failure to adapt his tactics to one that suited the players under O’Neill, however. Regardless of tactics, too many players are just doing the basics miserably.

#ValourFC fans - we have to take our mourning & turn it into momentum. Manitoba needs ⚽️ infrastructure badly, we need pathways, & for that to happen, we need people’s passion, knowhow & support to put behind small/youth clubs however we can. Supporter-power can change everything. We can’t stagnate.

What did they expect when they invested nothing into the club? -0 effort to win new fans -terrible matchday experience -announcer regularly mispronounced everyone’s names -no effort to condense seating to improve atmosphere -difficult to buy merch if not at games (old kits still full price online!)

Another important thing to remember in all of this is that the Bombers are community owned.

If this is true, Miller should be fired from his position with WFC. This is negligence. If Valour was such a financial burden for WFC (which was entirely self-inflicted, yet VFC was a factor in forgiven stadium loans?), then a failure to secure this sale should be seen as a dereliction of duty

I don’t think people outside of Winnipeg understand just how poorly Valour was marketed & supported by the Bombers ownership. I had countless conversations w/ people who had no idea we even HAD a team. How can a club grow if its fanbase if the fans have to do ALL the legwork for the growth?

Miller did nothing to support this team, to grow the fanbase, or to even support the fans the club had. He’s spitting in our faces now. WFC did next to zero advertising and then attacked fans for pointing that out, claiming they had the “highest marketing spend” in the league, which is just a lie.
