Today in “writer stuff” I started outlining my 8th book idea, only to find that the fourth and sixth book ideas contained elements that were perfect for merging into this one. Fees like ADD brain is finally bringing things together and it might be time to do this thing.

We started watching For All Mankind on a whim last month. Now into Season 2 and it has been a wild and incredible ride. Recommend it to all scifi lovers.

Today my wife told me she thought my plan to rewrite a Doom-like serial novel I published over a decade ago is a great idea. The problem? I’ve just pingponged off that idea a couple weeks ago to start another book idea. I think this is the 6th or 7th pingpong event in my 2026 writing.

Currently in submission circulation: 1 novella, 3 short stories, 1 flash fiction, and 13 poems. Naturally multiple rejections on each. This is a lot of freaking work.
