We are disappointed that yesterday, the Federal government rolled back an HHS requirement that child care providers be paid by the first day child care services take place, rather than weeks after the month ends. But California can and should still implement prospective pay.

Nearly 100 child care providers showed up to meet with their lawmakers to educate them about the urgent need to pay providers the true cost of care by passing #AB1981, equipping providers with Know Your Rights training by passing #AB237, and funding child care in the #CABudget.
