Had to explain to my supervisor that the reason I was being passive aggressive with a coworker was because if I was regular aggressive with him I'd end up jail.

The neighbors across the street came over and raked the leaves in the front yard for us. My dad used to clear their driveway and sidewalks in the winter and they saw this as the perfect repayment for that since he can't yard work like he used to.

Officially had my yearly eval today. Apparently, I'm a dedicated employee. Dedicated to being a menace.

I want to assure you all that I, too, saw the aurora borealis. I will not be sharing the photographic evidence, though, because I still haven't fixed the cracked lens protector on my phone's camera. It causes a weird glare. I don't want anyone thinking the aurora borealis is haunted.

Due to the fact that it's currently 34 degrees and the HVAC project at the library has left us without heat (we've been getting by on space heaters), the library is closed today. I am not complaining.

The power has been out since quarter til six this morning, a rude awakening for a fan sleeper. When will it come back on? Who knows. More dots keep appearing on the outage map.
