Seattle just being way too pretty flying in this morning.

Thought I had a catastrophic failure in the PDP-11/44 as I came home from work to it being off. It has had an uptime of 22 days so I was pretty impressed. Was able to quickly sus out the problem since I already knew of a flaky board in the power supply. Within an hour I had the machine up again!

PDP-11/44 is still humming along nicely.

Been messing around with doing some 2.5D graphics on the PDP-11. It’s slooooow. This is sped up about 8x.

The PDP-11/44 is back online, literally. Equipped with Ethernet and a full TCP/IP stack, I can telnet into this beast from 1978.

Bringing the PDP-8/e back up after it’s been in storage for the last couple of years. Fired right up with no issues! Still need to add back in the additional hardware as I’m just testing with a minimal system currently.

Helped my @sabur.bsky.social put the finishing touches on his hobby space. Color and design are based on a line of computer he works on ~ follow him for that hardcore nerd stuff

Back from a lovely holiday weekend camping trip with friends!

The trip down to CA was amazing and I’m already looking forward to doing another long road trip. Well worth the drive for the new rear suspension and the LiBCM which allows for a Lithium pack to replace the NiMH pack. It’s so awesome to be a part of the community of passionate and skilled owners.

Made it home safe!

This has been a fun trip, but I’m also ready to be home. So many excellent upgrades to my Insight, and meeting new friends along the way.

Overhauled the right side of my electrical panel in preparation for an electrician coming in to run a line for an AC install (I didn’t want them to hate me). It’s been on my todo list since buying this place as the previous owner left way too much slack. Finally had an excuse to get it done!
