Pedestrian Life. I was crossing a side road down Chestergate today. A turning driver stopped to let me complete my crossing. All good. Perfectly normal. But the guy in a van behind the turning car, wound down his window and shouted "t**t" at me. Nice.

Just reported this rather poorly looking tree to CEC. Close to a footway. They have recently been fined £500k when a tree fell and killed someone so I'm expecting they will be quite interested in looking at this one.

So CEC issued their Cycling Strategy in 2017. This had targets and objectives. It's now being superseded by their Active Travel Strategy. By FoI I asked to see their assessment of the previous strategy. They have replied that they didn't assess it. That seems pretty unprofessional to me.
