I've been obsessed about short arcadey action games for many years, but I think I just started doing it right lately. The new version of l'Abbaye des Morts (while not arcadey) can be completed in less than 15 minutes if you know what to do. Gaurodan and Toxic Tomb in around 20 minutes each.

Estoy haciendo algunos ajustes en la iconografía para que encaje mejor con las religiones que se muestran en el juego. Y un tema es que siendo en la edad media, no debería haber cruces invertidas para representar al demonio, pero los signos pertinentes no quedan tan bien en 8x8 píxeles

#AbbayeDesMorts I'm currently reworking the death scene. The original one was hard, but in a bad way. Now it should be fairer and more fun to play. And next will be the final scene, which I'm sure has the same problem.

l'Abbaye des Morts update is going pretty well. - All graphics revisited (same style) - New bitmap font - Retro accuracy slightly enhanced - Faster and smoother (60 fps) - Enemy patterns spiced up a bit - Jump reconfigured for consistency - Minor map fixes here and there - Better rhythm - Bezel bg

Remaking the font so it actually fits a 8x16 grid. This one will be complex because it has ligatures. The 2010 version font was not retro-accurate. Basically because I made the game before learning how to make my own bitmap fonts.
