#OBSESSION is the real deal. Easily one of my favorite films of Fantastic Fest 2025. A wildly smart and sharp original concept from Curry Barker that he knew JUST how to execute.

Sensing a #BUGONIA obsession might be starting. It played real well for me — especially in a packed theater at Fantastic Fest with a delightfully vocal crowd, myself very much included.

At a time when we sorely need silliness, this delivered. Hoping it becomes a regular segment!

BLACK PHONE 2 is my kind of sequel for so many reasons. Obviously it continues the story started in the original, but I LOVE when franchise installments, yes, feel connected, but also have their own unique style/definition.
