I've been trying to put a little texture into my outlines. Textured brushes never worked great for me, but I found that I get much better results adjusting the value output of the lineart layer and pain-filling the texture directly on the filter mask.

If it were the only thing, I'd still be grateful that the new Krita update includes this little in-canvas widget that allows me to quickly edit selections without navigating to a menu drop-down. Seems like a small thing, but it cleans up my workflow so much.

Having never slain a dragon and laid claim to its treasure hoard, I'm in no position to judge how one might celebrate such a success. Borrowed @m-ric.bsky.social's OCs Maeve and Alma. Tried something new with rendering reflective surfaces. Not entirely sure it's a full success, but it's a start.

Share your knowledge if/when you can. Teaching other people how to do what you do doesn’t lessen your art - it just means more and better art for everyone. I appreciate when people are willing to tell me about their brushes, how they study, etc… I want to put that back out into the world.
