When Andy Cole left #NUFC I recall the heartbreak, but the transfer fee was wisely reinvested in Ferdinand, Ginola & Barton, who almost took us to EPL title. NUFC have had all summer to prepare for this moment so I trust there’s plans in place for reinvestment in something equally transformational.

Good on Emery for voicing this publicly. I don’t understand why we aren’t hearing more noise from NUFC about how PSR severely limits those clubs that want to challenge the so called ‘big six’.

Surely we tell Isak he is staying at #nufc for another season ? Replacing Isak with Jackson would be hard to stomach. Four of the ‘big six’ have spent big on strikers this season so there is less competition for forwards next summer. We can then sit back and see which talent emerges this season.

There is such a weird media narrative here with Liverpool being portrayed as the ‘good guys’ who’d never dream about bidding without NUFCs permission. The media meanwhile put pressure on NUFC to sell time and time again, insinuating we should know our place in the pecking order. Fook them !

This makes an absolute mockery of NUFC having to sell Anderson and Minteh last season. Fair enough to Villa for finding a way around the rules but PSR is clearly not fit for purpose.

Why are NUFC not going all out for Morgan Rogers ? Villa apparently have a PSR deficit and need to sell before the end of June. Roger’s can play as a 10, as a striker and on the right wing. The right age too. Makes sense to me.

Newcastle’s overseas transfer targets remain a secret according to one prominent NE journalist today. The transfer targets that are playing the EPL may therefore be a red herring. Make of that what you will.

Watford supporters spoke so highly of Joao Pedro when we nearly signed him 2 years ago, predicting he was heading for great things. He can play as a 10, across the front three and, crucially, he provides a credible alternative to Isak. He’ll be a such a clever signing if #nufc can make it happen.

*Sigh* I guess we move on to the next target. Moving for a younger, cheaper, development player that can also slot into the first team might just work in our favour. #nufc

Awful, awful performance today. But what a phenomenol season NUFC have had. Winning the first trophy of my lifetime and qualifying for the champions league for the 2nd time in 3 years. That is absolutely fantastic, Eddie Howe is a genius and I’m totally elated ! 🖤🤍
