I'm really sick of people ripping something they claim to love to shreds and then getting all shocked and emotional when it goes away. Criticism is valuable. The entitled whining about subjective things, the harassment of devs, making the community toxic, none of that is okay.

It makes me sad seeing so many mod projects created out of cynicism for modern Minecraft. I'm not going to pretend like the game is perfect (it's far from it) but the negativity feels extreme. It's possible to constructively criticize the game and suggest solutions without attacking the developers.
