I feel like Minecraft has a weird balance considering how much people they try to cater to, personally I’d want things to be harder but well defined like only getting mending from swamp villages, (along with better repairing) Not everything needs to be easy to farm from the get go

I don’t think golden dandelions should be part of a new moobloom or for a sniffer drop, it wasn’t really intended to be part of them and would probably just feel worse. I think it’s better if they got things made for them to be obtainable that would feel better/more rewarding

I improved them!! so much more carrot like now!! There's probably more to improve on but I'm happy with this version

Maybe this is a bad or entitled take but I'm fine with a drop/update intended to help stabilize the game, I just kinda wish it was more clear from the start that it is the intention of the drop but there's probably just more factors that I don't really know about in the first place

Honestly would love if trial vaults reopened after a few hours, I know the reasoning there wasn’t any mechanic like this is because they wanted you to incentivize exploring more chambers, but I think there’s ways of dealing with it, such as making loot worse over time or something

Made a datapack to tweak the Nautilus, waiting for it to be approved but it has 2 changes, they're more resistant to trident damage and it removes the underwater mining speed penalty while you're riding them

I enjoy seeing how the Minecraft Developers and Hytale Developers talk about both games it's nice to see positivity there

Just had an idea for the crab claw if they ever implemented it, they could add another version using it + amethyst shards to craft a Calibrated Claw, which allows you to hold it and switch between your tools automatically based on the block you’re breaking, freeing up space for your hotbar

what if petting passive mobs gave you a tiny amount of xp? I think it'd also be nice if farming crops and archeology also did this, more ways of gaining xp would be nice overall

while I have my issues with a lot of drop features I do think they're pretty good overall in what they add, I especially love happy ghasts and spears they're both really fun to play with! I love having the new mobs around my base

I do wonder if next drop will do more in terms of gameplay, such as an overhaul, we’re not done with this drop cycle so it still feels too early to tell, but I can’t imagine there being too much gameplay wise in this drop tbh

I feel like it'd make for interesting balancing if higher armor tiers would slow you down even if it's just a bit but I think in the end it might make things more annoying than fun

Could be neat if while having a lunge spear you could crouch to not lunge so the jab is still accessible to you

what if xp cost in an enchanting table scaled by material? like how you can get better enchants using certain materials, wood, stone and gold could be pretty cheap while higher tool tiers could be more expensive, this could make early game enchanting a little bit easier and more useful

So Mojang's position on vertical slabs wasn't "we want the players to work around restrictions" but rather hearing it once, then later pretending the suggestion didn't even exist for over a decade despite being constantly and rigorously suggested since the very beginning? Am I hearing that right?

drops add cool stuff but they honestly feel unfinished. I love using spears but they definitely feel a little janky especially when going up too close to a mob it just straight up misses the attack which really doesn't feel right. I also wish copper golems remembered where they put stuff...

I do wish enchantment tiers mattered more to the gameplay, it probably doesn't help with how enchanting is locked till diamond which at that point you're gonna want to get the highest tier, especially with villagers which can also just do that for you

I think for a future archeology update it’d be awesome to add a lot more pot customization especially since it can fit the vibe of certain structures/builds better if you decided you want to use pots
