All with a game box in beautiful design with the bracelets and picking a great set of albums for the colors (and little Karyn 🐍🖤) Baby let the game begin!

So, I finally met my half brother that I knew existed but never met. He's also in IT, two kids around same age as ours and roughly same connection to our dad. Shared numbers so maybe this is an opportunity to connect. Also the weather is wonderful today. Perfect for golfing, which was Dad's passion

So, today is my dad's burial. I never really knew him until I was fully grown with two kids and came back to my home town. There's not so much sadness, since the visits were few and nice, but shallow. Which is fine. But there's a bit of emptiness now. Like, not sure how to feel.

Vacation over. Kind of sad. Could've, should've been longer. Still 5h30 driving ahead, which means arrival late night. I'll miss the sunny blue sky weather at the Croatia coast and I expect nothing less than kind-of-warm-but-still-cold German weather on return.

This unreachable waste on the roof of our neighbors directly in our view might become our daily sign of shame to have been utterly played by a bunch of seagulls for the remainder of this vacation 😭

Those bullies are ganging up on us at our beach side breakfast. They remember us, I swear.

The fucking seagulls stole our cheese slides with the full package FROM OUR TABLE on our terrace with sunroof. We were standing a meter away. They fucking know stupid tourists aren't quick enough to stop them. That was a planned attack, because you don't see them right around our house otherwise.

We arrived. Just in case anyone was worried (no one really was). It is very nice so far but the real vacation will start tomorrow, as we only arrived in the evening. But it's already nice being able to have a short stroll outside at this time without being wrapped in multiple layers and a jacket

We entered Austria. Just passing by, promise.

More than half an hour late, but LFGB. Croatia, here we come!

Tomorrow we ride. Into vacation. I'm sorry if I got anyone's hope up.

The heater is working again! 🔥 Our landlord investigated for the missing part that's no longer produced, found one in another city, drove 2 hours there to pick it up as quickly as possible and the technicians came the next day to repair the thing. There are actually nice people who are landlords.

In case we need to find a shelter until the heater is repaired, the in-laws have a big house with a full apartment in the top. However the (completely new) kitchen there is not to be used. No, because it's just there to look nice and make it *seem* as if someone could actually live there 🙄

The fucking heater broke and it can't be repaired easily, probably needs to be replaced and I grazed a car this morning while parking and FML. Just in case anyone is wondering where I'm at lately
