Shiun has always had an explosive temper. All through ARR he was a dick who would lash out at any slight or attempt to know him personally. He got into barfights and scuffles constantly. He's easy to rile up. He solves problems with his fists. Even before the Flame woke, he'd punch before talking.

Fun fact: When Shiun is lying or hiding something he won't make eye contact and often looks up and to the right.
