The thing that permanently turned me off of the Celebration experience was sitting in a queue for an upcoming panel, hearing the audio of a Bad Batch promo being shown inside, and knowing I would never see it. There is nothing celebratory about excluding most of the fandom from big moments.

As this situation has developed, my heart increasingly goes out to the people who were deeply hurt by this betrayal of trust. 🫂 I participated in communities and RPGs with them and although I occasionally felt some tiny pangs of suspicion, I'm so sad that it ran this deep.

Not sure why so many of these descriptions fail to mention the clearly lit cities of North Africa in this gorgeous image. The Moroccan cities of Tangier, Rabat, Casablanca, Marrakech, and even Agadir are so easy to ID, among others. So hi👋 ! This side of the planet actually includes Africa, too!

Holiday decor update 🎄

Last night at Friendsgiving my 12yr old told the table she's thankful for her health, both physical & mental. All the teachers & school counselors were struck because we weren't even aware of our mental health at that age. Maybe we're doing ok and the kids will be OK?

Thanksgiving feast was at 1pm and it was the most epic and classic American feast I've ever had, in or out of the US. Not sure how to proceed when dinner was lunch so now it's 9pm and I'm making curried lentil stew. 🤷🏽‍♀️
