Holiday decor update 🎄

Last night at Friendsgiving my 12yr old told the table she's thankful for her health, both physical & mental. All the teachers & school counselors were struck because we weren't even aware of our mental health at that age. Maybe we're doing ok and the kids will be OK?

Thanksgiving feast was at 1pm and it was the most epic and classic American feast I've ever had, in or out of the US. Not sure how to proceed when dinner was lunch so now it's 9pm and I'm making curried lentil stew. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Finally got to see Fantastic 4! We both loved it 💙. Interesting data point: the audience in our theater was 100% female: a few moms/daughters, and a group of teenage girls. It was also the most pleasant movie experience I've had in my entire adult life. Really wild.
