X5 might've been one of the early seeds planted in my brain for liking "horror" elements in an otherwise non-horror setting. Watching the Zero Virus get created in the aftermath of the Shuttle, going back to stage select and just seeing this as your only option... little me was definitely spooked.

I love Megaman X5 very unironically. Played through the entire game as Zero so he got all the upgrades. Beat every stage boss for all the Enigma / Shuttle parts. RNG into Awakened Zero path anyways so have to go through the Zero stages as unarmored X. They don't do games like this anymore.
