Really enjoying re-reading the facsimile reprints of Crisis on Infinite Earths. Nice little snacks of nostalgia (I own the Absolute & digital) in this format. Paper is wonderfully retro, as is the hand-lettering from John Costanza.

My comic book pull list currently includes: Aquaman Challengers of the Unknown Metamorpho Namor …and a Justice League-tangential comic starring Ray Palmer AND Ryan Choi. (Other titles as well, but this handful really strikes me) What a great time to be a comic reader. Can a Hawk-title be far off?

I’m not the biggest Neil Diamond fan, but took my wife, Mom & stepdad to see A BEAUTIFUL NOISE yesterday. Mom is the biggest Neil Diamond fan. Show was so good! So good! So good! And seeing my mom find joy and wonder was heartwarming and will be a memory I hold onto forever.

Batman/Superman: World’s Finest continues to be my favorite title right now. The fun + joy of comics that spill out of what @markwaid.bsky.social has spearheaded just hits the nostalgia buttons for me + provides the perfect amount of escapism/entertainment. With one word balloon, I need more…

Si Spurrier’s run on the Flash has been a challenge for me. It was fine, but I wasn’t seeing the big picture. That changed with two things: 1. Ramon Pérez’s stunning artwork. 2. Reading the tale in chunks of 2-3 issues. And two bits of dialog are feeling rather rewarding.

Given X-Men ‘97’s popularity, I wistfully wonder if we could get a continuation of Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest someday… #Avengers #AvengersEarthsMightiest
