There were a lot of standouts that series for the #GoAvsGo. Burns, Lehkonen, Roy all were great…but… To me, that was very much a “Cale Makar is the best defenseman in the world” series. And it wasn’t just the highlight-reel goals.

That series went exactly how I thought it would (4 or 5 games) and yet it also did not. The #GoAvsGo  were patient and beat the Kings at their own game. No high-flying offense until the end. It wasn’t always pretty, but it was very impressive. That’s the sign of a mature group.

Avs hold on and take the commanding 3-0 series lead in the series. One guy who has really cranked up his game this series is Brent Burns. He’s been a monster.
