Our Custodian, @sorchadallas.bsky.social, was honoured to write the @theguardian.com obituary for sculptor and educator David Harding. As town artist in Glenrothes he embedded sculpture in everyday spaces, shaping a vision of public art that lives with the weather and the street.

Yu Sun, one of five animators commissioned by the Alasdair Gray Archive and @canongate.co.uk, created a mixed-media response to Chapter Twelve of Lanark. Inspired by Duncan Thaw’s childhood imagination, the film premiered at Gray Day 2026.

Building the Collection: AGA grew from preserving 5,000+ items from Gray’s home to a living archive—now 3,500 donated works and the 700-item including the new @aowensarchive.bsky.social —showing Gray within a wider cultural ecosystem.

Timeline 47:In 2007, Gray met @sorchadallas.bsky.social, who revived interest in his visual art. She curated key shows, led major commissions, and founded The Alasdair Gray Archive—ensuring his legacy remains vibrant and widely celebrated.

Took the kids to explore the hauntingly beautiful ruins of St Peter’s Seminary near Cardross yesterday. Once a Roman Catholic seminary designed by Gillespie, Kidd & Coia, it’s now a modernist relic — described by Docomomo International as a “building of world significance.”
