I talked to my dad this morning and told him I was feeling sad, basically, about being trans and feeling hopeless. And I was kind of mopey because he let's me get away with being like that when I need to. And sometimes it makes me feel better 🧵

The sad thing for trans people, that this person is either ignorant of or, more likely, just doesn't care about, is that a lot of our rights against sex discrimination hinged upon the interpretation of Title IX. So, the hill she doesn't want Dems to "die on" is kind of our right to exist...

And if you really want to know how West Virginia feels about women: It's ranked 48th for women's health care outcomes and has the highest death rate for women of reproductive age, about 203.6 per 100,000. But rest assured Gov. Patrick Morrisey is putting resources where they can most help women.

The State of West Virginia ranks 50th in infrastructure, 49th in health care, 47th in education and 47th in economy. But they did just spend a ton of time and resources to ban ONE trans kid from playing sports.

So what's next? Are they going to try to ban trans girls from watching sports?

We must protect female athletes from trans girls so those athletes can grow up, turn pro and become a punchline for mediocre men.

If nothing else, the Roberts Court has proved that Supreme Court justices no longer maintain the integrity to police themselves. With at least three members behaving in ways that span from improper to blatantly corrupt, our highest court needs massive reforms.

If hell exists, it's hard for me to imagine that John Roberts, Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito won't be spending eternity there.

Becky Pepper Jackson never went through male puberty. She transitioned as a child and has never known life as anything other than what she is: a girl. The Supreme Court is likely going to ban her, WV's only known trans high school athlete, from playing sports.

The more I get to know my boyfriend on a deep and personal level the more I'm convinced he's a completely different human than the rest of us. As a trans girl, I spend a lot of time thinking about gender and social acceptance and presentation. But Michael is so completely different about it.

My wonderful and amazing boyfriend upon learning my most recent ex boyfriend reached out for guidance after realizing they might be trans: "I mean this in the nicest possible way, but sometimes I feel like I'm a minor character in a really queer soap opera..." No. He's definitely main cast.

Well I was dead wrong about this. After letting them know I wasn't really interesting in meeting up, I got a long email from them last night saying they've been questioning their gender and think they might be trans. 😳
