Made a new friend today, and apparently her cat's name is "My F**king Cat". When she comes home from the metaphysical shop she runs, she shouts, "Where's My F**king Cat?!" and he comes running!

One way I've found to help deal with the stress of *waves hands around* all this is to start volunteering with the Red Cross. It's a good way to remind myself that people still care about others. There are ways to volunteer on a small or big level, and even remote opportunities for accessability!

Got a "this sounds like a compelling read" query rejection today. I know it's a rejection, but I'm feeling encouraged by it! Maybe I've hit the "delusional" phase of the query trenches?

Tip for writing sessions: before writing anything, put on a good playlist and do some dramatic, interpretive dancing for a couple songs. You'll get your brain and body used to letting it all out regardless of how dumb you feel, and it'll carry over into your writing!
