#basilfacts I'll go against the grain a bit here, Basil didn't mind it. The ancients were a little weird and touchy and straight up insulting on a few occasions, but he got treats out of the deal so it wasn't so bad. I like to think he enjoyed being just "a familiar" instead of the hero for a bit.

I just like couples who are obsessed with eachother, it's a sweet dynamic when you have two little weirdos who are equally head over heels for the other. Basil isn't shy about how much he likes him either, though he's been getting fed up with the repeated attempts at self-sacrifice on his behalf.

I'm a Marine Bio major and have always loved the ocean which really helped to inspire Basil's love of fish. We're also both neurodivergent! So Basil has a few stims that he shares with me like: rocking, pacing, playing with his hands, and chewing things or himself.

Lowkey hard sometimes to make ship content in this day and age. I know realistically fandom has always been awful about it, but it gets so tiring having to deal with people who get like almost territorial about blorbos You don't own the character, you aren't the only one allowed to play barbies....
