It needs to be made clear to ICE agents that they will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for the crimes they commit. There will be Nuremberg trials.

By the refs' own ruling, the ball should have been placed 15 yards from the previous line of scrimmage and the clock reset to 0:02 when the play ended. The Lions should file a protest.

In contemporary America, evangelical embrace of the MAGA fraud operation has rendered the term "Christian" meaningless. If a stranger told me first thing that he was Christian, I would know nothing more of his beliefs and morals than I did before he spoke. This seems like an inflection point.

As Arendt and Sartre and so many before have told us -- the goal is not to replace truth, but to render the entire concept of shared truth to ruins. To fray all bonds of fellowship and shared ethic among a free people.

David Brooks is now the third alleged Jeffery Epstein associate at the New York Times. This potentially includes A.G. Sulzberger, the current chairman of the NYT board. The NYT published this piece by David Brooks about Epstein less than a month ago. Why did their executive leadership allow this?

Thinking about MTG's long game for a minute. It's apparent that Republican retirements are going to flip the House in 2026. Whether it's for the joy of fucking Trump over, or the political profit, MTG is about to lead enough R's out to give the D's subpoena power. 1/

We need to ask ourselves what an enemy of the US would do to destroy the country from within... and compare that to what the GOP and 47 have done in 2025. You'd need a microscope to see any difference.

Has anybody started a public campaign to call Vance's office to demand his invocation of the 25th? This seems like the time to get this started in earnest. Vance is insidious, but he's not insane. We need a sane person in charge, stat.

Our stories so far have focused on the activists fighting mass deportation. In the coming days, we will share more stories from migrants in their own words. This was not easy. There are language barriers and people have deep fears about coming forward. However, it was very important to include.

People keep wondering why they're going after Venezuela. It's because they want to do regime change and control its oil, then use a big tract of land there to keep a tax free "network state" that looks like Dubai but operates like Rhodesia. They are saying this out loud! Believe them!

Every day that Donald Trump remains in office is a testament to the cowardice and malfeasance of Congressional Republicans. Every day, Trump embarrasses the United States and demonstrates his inability to discharge the duties of his office. Every day, enemies of the United States take advantage.

the thing is that blowing up drug boats is just murder. no law licenses it. it is just war crimes. but to say out loud what the penalty for committing them is puts us in the position of accusing high government officials of capital crimes. it is critically important to be able to say the obvious.

If you don't believe that everyone has the right to express themselves and their identities as they see fit, then you forfeit that right for yourself or be damned as a hypocrite. The social conservative hangups about sex need treatment in therapy, not a place in the public discourse.

Itâs time for folks at DoD and in the IC to start lawyering up. If youâre an officer or official who was forced into pushing through potentially illegal orders, get a lawyer. If youâre a soldier, seaman or airman who was forced to execute them, get a lawyer.

Why have Democrats never -- and I do mean never -- attacked Fox News over its foreign ownership? Fox News is not an interested party in American politics, save for whatever money they can drag out of the country into their pockets. Their ownership doesn't have to live in the country they tear apart
