As part of Future Me Week we created posters about who we are now and who we might be in the future. We thought about our skills and the jobs we’d like to do one day. So many amazing ideas 👮🎨👩‍🔬🧑‍🔬🧑‍🔧

As part of Future Me week we took a personality quiz which told us about things we are good at which job may suit us!

We loved having the Denny STEM ambassadors in today! We learned all about the Romans and even got to make our own catapults.

Last week we had a visit from the librarian who taught us how to be great storytellers! We’re getting ready for our nursery visits and for becoming buddies! 📚✨

We’ve been exploring coordinates in Maths! 📐 Today we had lots of mini teachers up at the board, confidently plotting points and sharing their learning.

As part of book week we paired up with primary 4 to do some paired reading! 📚

Our class has been busy creating original characters who would make a kind and supportive friend to August from our class novel, Wonder. Everyone designed their own character and wrote about the type of friend they would be 📚✨

Today we created amazing anti-bullying posters with powerful slogans and pictures!

As part of Anti-Bullying Week, we looked at different scenario cards and discussed what we would do. We shared lots of thoughtful ideas about speaking out and the power of kindness. Great discussion today P6!

We’ve been exploring compass points in maths! Today we took part in a treasure quest as pirates and then designed our own compass grids to give directions to a partner. Lots of amazing work and great teamwork on show!

This morning we joined the BBC live lesson for Anti-Bullying Week with the theme ‘Power for Good’ 😊

This morning we enjoyed attending Antonine’s Macmillan Coffee Morning! It was a treat to share something sweet and have a chat with parents and guardians. Wonderful to see so many wearing green in support of such an amazing charity! 💚☕️🍰
