I finished a dungeon crawler today that ended with a "one year later" message, followed by the main quest-giver telling you in a single line that the end boss is alive again for some reason and unceremoniously tossing you back into the dungeon. Laughed out loud. Genuine respect.

I watched the Death Wish remake and I think that was one of the more evil movies I've ever seen. The kind of movie that feels a little cursed, like you've lowered your lifespan by having seen it.

I put this on expecting to ignore it as a background movie while I worked, but I ended up watching intently. Very fun.
