Absolutely disgusting and infuriating to see from a tour founded on defiance and moral clarity. End of that era, end of that illusion. A betrayal of the LGBTQ+ community and women.

I like that even Infantino knew they had to get Trump out of that shot but couldn’t. Live by the grift, die the grift.

if I was the head of FIFA and you came to me and said you invented a technology that takes the most exciting and emotional events in sports and just kind of muffles them, but also operates in a completely arbitrary way and doesn't solve the "problem" of referee errors, I would shoot you with a gun

Soccer is my favorite sport and always will be, but Jesus Christ they've got to do something about this VAR issue. Every exciting moment devolves into legalistic nitpicking and standing around. For a match like this to end with Zapruder analysis and trigonometry is simply not fun!!!

This is incredible. So satisfying. I was going to say it’s “cutting” but it’s more a knifing to the gut or maybe a beheading.

What a proud day for men’s tennis. What I’ve learned over the years is that a man credibly reported for horrific interpersonal violence can redeem himself by winning at the top echelon of a sport. You love to see it. Good times all around.
