#Poet Emily Dickinson was born #OTD in 1830. She wrote ~1,800 poems & only 10 were published in her lifetime (& heavily edited by publishers to be "normal"). Unrecognized in her time, Dickinson was known later for her innovative use of form & syntax and influence on #poetry styles like free verse.
