Important recommendation. My mom had serious reactions to 5-FU that resulted in hospitalization and early termination of her treatment for colon cancer. Fortunately she survived both the cancer and the cure (almost 29 years after her diagnosis).

I grew up outside of Boston. After Louise Brown (the first "test-tube baby") was born, George Annas was quoted in an article in the Boston Globe. It sparked my interest in bioethics and set me on my path to law school and my current career. This is sad news.
