This week's 9-1-1 opened with multiple people losing fingers in a game of tug-of-war. It is the greatest thing that I have seen on TV all year.

Just finished 'And Then There Were none,' which was great until all that exposition at the end. It was kind of the book version of the doctor explaining Norman Bates at the end of 'Psycho.'

I'm finally reading Night Bitch, and I'm sorry but does any else sing the title in their heads to the tune of Bob Seger's Night Moves? ("Working on some Night Bitch..")

So last week I read Tart by Slutty Cheff and this week I'm listening to the audiobook Self Sabotage by Jeffrey Self so I guess my thing right now is funny, well-written books that I will never tell my mom I've read.

I've been rewatching Daria with my daughter, and, God, I forgot how good that show was. The first season finale, Misery Chick, and second season premiere, Arts and Crass are as good a one-two punch as TV has ever seen.

There's a Conan Gray concert tonight and the fan uniform is sailor PJs and hats. I was at dinner near the venue and saw a bunch of girls in the required outfits. At the table behind sat three girls in The Uniform and an older man, I assume a dad, wearing a Conan the Barbarian T-shirt. A king!

In these trying times, it is my duty to tell there exists a cozy mystery novel starring the Golden Girls, and it is a freaking DELIGHT.

Edi Patterson probably won't even get nominated for an Emmy for her monologue to that monkey on tonight's

The most relatable thing about this week's
#TheLastOfUs
is that, at meeting to talk about a potential vigilante mission, there's one guy who only wants to talk about agriculture and gets scolded for not staying on topic.

I have too much faith in Danny McBride as a TV creator to believe that his casting of Michael Rooker as a seemingly malevolent ex is not a blatant Sea Of Love homage. And I love it.

Yes, Reachet's Alan Ritchson is truly gobsmacking boulder made flesh, but why aren't we talking more about this cereal-chomping goddess?

Dear creators of Reacher, when driving from Maine to New London, CT, one does not pass through New Haven. I mean, otherwise, the show is perfect. That was the only flaw.

is so delightfully unhinged, it doesn't know where the hinge is. It can't find the word "hinge" in the dictionary. It exists in a world without hinges, where doors clatter violently to the floor.

Encyclopædia Britannica will continue to use ‘Gulf of Mexico’ for a few reasons: -We serve an international audience, a majority of which is outside the U.S. -The Gulf of Mexico is an international body of water, and the U.S.’s authority to rename it is ambiguous. 🧵⬇️

Not sure who watched Landnan, but just gotta say that it is BONKERS that they gave Jerry Jones more dialoguecin one episode than they gave Demi Freaking Moore in the entire season. Just straight up bananapants.
