With every crate of fruit and veg we redistribute, charities are able to free up funding and spend more where it matters most, supporting their services instead of food costs. So not only are we reducing waste, but we’re strengthening the charities that hold communities together across Oxfordshire.

We are at the heart of surplus food redistribution in Oxfordshire, supporting over 200 charities. In our most recent financial year we redistributed 400 tonnes of produce to local organisations. With your help, we can continue to provide this service at no cost to suppliers or charities.

We’ve had a delightful influx of Romanesco Cauliflowers at the Hub, and they truly are a sight to behold. These striking vegetables are not only a visual treat but also packed with nutrients.

As it is Food Waste Action Week🌍,we want to share about the reality of food waste 🥕. It's staggering to think about the sheer quantity of amazing food that goes to waste.

We’ve noticed that a number of non-food items are consistently in high demand from our charities. These include sanctuary products, toiletries, and cleaning supplies 🧴🧽. Although these items can be quite expensive, they are essential for the groups we support. #Sustainability #Oxfordshire #Donate

We believe that good food should never end up in landfill, especially when so many people are forced to choose between heating and eating. We collect &distribute surplus food for free, supporting >200 charities & community groups by enabling them to spend their funds directly on their impact area.

Our volunteers saved 518 tonnes of food from ending up in landfill since Oct 2022, that's as much as 2.5 million apples... We then redistribute our surplus food to over 200 different charities and community groups across Oxfordshire. Please get in touch with us on [email protected]
