Seeing David Gilmour’s Live at Circus Maximus, Rome, concert in IMAX last night was just awesome. The theater was full, & despite the average age in the room probably trending toward 70, we all jammed just the same. Huge screen, huge sound; fucking legend.

why do drivers speed through neighborhoods? this lady couldn’t wait 10 seconds for me to get to the stop sign, so she nails the speed bumps, then blows the stop sign; ignoring the red truck that was already there waiting. yet still had the presence of mind to use her turn signal. unhinged.

riding the sidewalk is legal but often just as dangerous as the road. drivers are never looking for sidewalk users—only at the road. this <1/4 mile on a very busy road is the only sidewalk I use on my entire 11.25mi route, but one of the most unsafe stretches. it’s why on-street bike lanes are best.
