Dram 4 nose is industrial. Jammy, fruity, meaty. Yummy! #BlindDrams

I'll give Dram 3 a 3 #BlindDrams

A bit thin on the palate but jammy with lots of berries. Finish is peppery. The Ribena is still there on the palate. A lot less grainy than the 1st 2 so will score better! #BlindDrams

Dram 3 nose is Ribena soaked plimsoles with a balsamic glaze #BlindDrams

Sorry weird interaction with a DPD driver means I missed Dram 2 But I score it a 2. #BlindDrams

A real disappointment on the palate after an appealing nose. Its like drinking from a rusty cup. Acrid, bitter, spicy. Nope #BlindDrams

Fruits of the forest yoghurt. Stick Toffee Pudding! More orange spritz. Dusty leather. Creamy toffee. Coffee. #TheCairnDistillery

Sorry was distracted by the 25yo and hadn't realised we had moved on!! Nose: Initially I get that strawberry sauce for ice-cream! Orange spritz. Cinder Toffee. Ginger Nuts. Flat cola. #TheCairnDistillery

Pistachio meringue roulade with fresh rasberries covered in chocolate. Fruity oak. Drying and moreish. Orange spritz. #TheCairnDistillery

Nose: Bounty Bar! Rum and Raisin ice-cream. Pancakes lathered in maple syrup and some liquorice allsorts. #TheCairnDistillery

#TheCairnDistillery 18yo palate: Oh wow this is a luscious dram. Banana split with lashings of melted chocolate and chopped nuts finished with mint leaves.

Nose: Ok I'm going to say it....Foam Bananas! Nice and fruity like the 12yo but also meatier and some old leather in there as well. #TheCairnDistillery

The palate has a lovely mouthfeel. Dark chocolate orange, the apples are still there being all appley. Ginger, cinnamon and cloves on a lovely finish #TheCairnDistillery

Nose: Lots of orchard and hedgerow fruits. For a 12yo its quite woody. Sherry Trifle. Cloves and cinnamon. #TheCairnDistillery

A very emotional night in our house as we prepare to say goodbye to Molly tomorrow morning. She is deteriorating and I don't want to put her through anymore so tomorrow at 10am she will be set free. Love you best girl 💔

Palate is buttered popcorn salvered in rich spicy dark chocolate with all those typical sherry note. Thick and gloopy on the palate. #BraveNewSpirits

Nose is really lovely costal memories of rockpooling. Lobster pots, petrichor, beach bonfire. Palate is filthy with BBQ pineapple and ginger snaps #BraveNewSpirits

This is actually quite complex for a blended whisky! It's fruity but with a deep dark chocolate background. The bit of Islay whisky in there is giving it a lovely smokey background that sits perfectly balanced with the sweetness. #BraveNewSpirits

Nose is full of spicy sherried goodness! Its biscuity with deep, dark fruity notes. Damp leather and a touch of smoke. #BraveNewSpirits

On the palate this is fudgey caramel, malt biscuits. It like scooping out a jar of Biscoff with a Biscoff (oh yes I have!) There are also oaky dark berries and nuts. Very yummy! #BraveNewSpirits

A nice 1st-fill bourbon cask to open tonight's tasting. The nose has Honeycomb ice-cream, apple slices, pear drops, apple turnover with icing sugar. #BraveNewSpirits

Dram 4 is much more together as a dram. this one is dusty old cigar box. Lemon rind. there is baked alaska with a berry compote. Buttery digestives. Smokey toffee pennies. #BlindDrams
