Bizarre as this sounds, I'm going to say Hazelnut latte with black pepper! #FettercairnWhisky

I've been looking forward to this one! Nose: Shock there's pineapple!!! But this one has more melon, toffee pennies and banana bread. #FettercairnWhisky

The palate has loads of grilled pineapple, dried apricots, marmalade shred, vanilla fudge. Maybe a little red berries on the finish? #FettercairnWhisky

First thing to say is that extra 6.3%ABV this has over the 12yo really does make a massive difference #FettercairnWhisky

Nose: Honey, pineapple, some honey with a touch of pineapple, some pineapple with a touch of honey, honeyed pineapple, pineappled honey. #FettercairnWhisky

The palate is milk chocolate, with bags of pineapple. A vegetal oakiness with lots of cinnamon and ginger. #FettercairnWhisky

Just had my last dram in the Bon Accord as we know it. A Springbank 18 seemed fitting.

On the palate this Glen Moray 12yo Smoky offers lemony ashy smoke. This would be a great introduction for someone wanting to start exploring peat. Typically creamy and sweet. #GlenMorayWhisky

The final dram of the evening is the Glen Moray 12 Smoky. On the nose it has a light smoke, the kind of smoke lef ton your clothes after sitting by a bonfire. Its classic Glen Moray with the spiced apples thereafter. #GlenMorayWhisky

For a 40% dram, the finish is long. Wrapped in sweetness with a woody spice kick. #GlenMorayWhisky

Dram 2 - On the nose: Very vegetal with orange peel oils. Waxy (can you smell waxy??) Some smoke again. Cloves, a bit of cinnamon? #BlindDrams

Dram 1 - Score: ⭐⭐⭐ 3/5 - Damn drinkable and if within my price range, I'd happily buy (or have bought) one of these and enjoy it. #BlindDrams
