Its my birthday. Woke up to a wonderful cooked breakfast with my family. Then on a walk with Molly, a bird pooed on me. So mixed start to the day! 🤣

Dram 5 scores a 4. #BlindDrams

Dram 5 is a cheeky Nandos lemon and herb #BlindDrams

Dram 5 is another lemony bbq smoke dram. #BlindDrams

Dram 4 is pleasant and I think its somethign matured in an ex islay peated cask. Its proabably a 2 but given my low scores tonight I'll give it a score of 3. #BlindDrams

Dram 4 is coastal BBQ with Ham covered in a sweet glaze. Buttered crumpet. #BlindDrams

Dram 3: Artifical fruit like Jolly Ranchers make this the best dram of the night but it's still not great. Its very drinkable though and I score it a 2. #BlindDrams

Dram 3 is really herbal and vegetal. I'm picking up potentially some wine cask notes again. Feels young again. #BlindDrams

Dram 2 scores another 1 for me. #Sorry #BlindDrams

Dram 2 - I'm afraid I don't like this one either. Not sure if it is me tonight but there is again a off sour note in the palate that is masking the fruit. Its almost like yeast that hasn't integrated into the whisky. #BlindDrams

Onto Dram 2: Funky time nose is a fruit salad sitting in a charred wooden fruit bowl that has some rotten vegetal mould in the bottom of it. #BlindDrams

Dram 1 - Sorry @whiskypad.bsky.social but I can't get past that off sour note I am getting. The finish is too dry and hot for me. Score: 1 #BlindDrams

Dram 1: A gentle intro from Andy here with something around the 46%ABV. Sweet fizzy lemon bonbons and orchard fruits turn into an off sour note that is quite dominant. The finish is very drying. #BlindDrams

Dram 1 nose is lemony sweetness. Almost lemon on sea bass in baking parchment? #Blinddrams

Dram 3 scores a 3 for me. Thats a 1,2,3 on the scores for me. Looking promising for dram 5!! #BlindDrams

Dram 3 palate: Note sure what is going on for me tonight but I again find this quite thin on the palate. Its nice but less than complex. A bit of a disappointment from the nose. But it is very drinkable! #BlindDrams

Dram 3: Big sherry vibes here. all the usual christmassy fruits, figs, prunes. A bit of salted caramel and chocolate. #BlindDrams

Dram 2 scores a 2 #BlindDrams

Dram 2 Palate: Thin mouthfeel. Quite drying. Tropical, creamy cocktail. Hedgerow? A little ginger on the end. Some effervencence. #BlindDrams

Ok Dram 2: Nose: Honey, plum jam, a bit of pine needle, toasted bread #BlindDrams

Unfortunately this has to score a 1 for me. #BlindDrams

Dram 1 palate: like some sort of sugary lemon syrup that shouldn't be drunk without adding water. Very few if any redeeming features here. #BlindDrams
