🎉 Lee & Low is celebrating 50 years of Children's Book Press! Originally founded in 1975, Children’s Book Press was the first independent press in the U.S. to focus on publishing children’s literature by and about people of color. In 2012, Children’s Book Press became an imprint of Lee & Low.
