pre-snap penalties have to be the easiest area of improvement for MIN, right. It's primarily on offense and offensive pre-snap penalties occurred under both QBs (quite a bit) so it's not as easy as saying one is better but like fix this and you fix a lot, fast (h/t @statbutler.com )

Through three games, the Titans have lost nearly a touchdown per game from the net impact of penalties

Great question! I tried to make these all pretty close to 50/50, so probably 9-8 would be modestly outperforming expectations.

More on my 53-man roster predictions. This time I focused on the 26 players who failed to make an initial roster that I'd estimated had a 90% chance or better of doing so before camp. Overall, a mix of legitimately unexpected cuts and opportunities to improve my model.

Of the 8 teams in action tonight, 3 gave their starters multiple drives on both sides of the ball, while the other 5 held out nearly all of their starters plus some backups.

Some fantastic data visualization from @statbutler.com for #Ravens preseason game 2. Ravens barely played any starters and still were dominant on defense. Loved seeing Lowery come in as 3rd safety.

The Broncos had a dress rehearsal game against the 49ers on Saturday night, playing their starters for three drives on offense and two drives on defense.
