When the water industry was privatised in 1989, it had zero debt. Since then, it's accumulated combined debt of £60bn. This has been used to pay shareholders £72bn in dividends & to refinance companies: so original investors paid themselves back the original cost, ie they get the companies for free.

Sir Keir Starmer and his slimy health minister Wes Streeting are now selling off the #NHX so the same can happen there. Private companies exist to make money; they would have no interest in the NHS if they didn't expect to profit from our pain. It's that simple.
