Attended my second Riftbound Nexus Night and it didn't go well. The first ended in a tie because we ran out of time. (Felt like being roped IRL) The second I won 2-0 against a Viktor The third I lost 0-2 against an Annie I am beginning to wonder if what is lacking is me, not the deck.

I got stomped at my local Riftbound Nexus Night. I thought I could be creative and attempt to brew something myself, but everyone seemed to be running the meta. It's disheartening because I like expressing myself through deck building.

I think I am about to learn how tariffs work. I didn't check the location of some sellers I purchased from on Etsy. Now I have novelty play mats coming from Sweden and China that I would have totally passed on if I had paid attention.

I took a sick day at work. Just been exhausted. Definitely skipping commander tonight. I need to attend my niece's birthday tomorrow and I'd like to attend Riftbound night at my LGS Sunday. I'd feel guilty going to play games if I skipped out on family.

I stayed up entirely too late but I built my first Riftbound deck. The Legend is Relentless Storm and Volibear Imposing as the Champion Unit. It is intended to be a big stompy ramp deck. Not sure how well it will do and unfortunately my next event is a pay to play.

I attended another Riftbound Pre-release event. This time, I went 3-0 W-L with a Lee Sin deck. It's crazy, Friday night I was stuffed in the forever box repeatedly. Today I was unstoppable. ^w^
