Yesterday, I and @housedemocrats.bsky.social defeated a reckless bill that would’ve allowed employers to cheat workers out of their pay. That’s not just bad policy, it’s an attack on workers. I won’t stop fighting to lower costs and ensure our economy works for regular Americans.

Claudette Colvin was a trailblazer. She pioneered the fight to end racial segregation and stood firm as a young child against an unjust system. May her memory be one that continues to inspire young people to fight for a more just and fair country for all.
