Magic Card of the Day: Chance for Glory Every time I’ve cast this card it feels incredible, even if it kills me. The pressure to win or find an out to the trigger feels incredible. What a rush! Also the neat thing is if you do find a way past this, your creatures are indestructible forever. #mtg

Magic Card of the Day: Voidslime The ultimate No. It can counter anything but how good is that? Often it will ensure you can prevent one big thing but the challenge with countering isn’t countering everything, just the exact moments. Hold off countering so fast, wait for the hubris to happen. #mtg

Magic Card of the Day: Afterlife Insurance A lot of the Clue exclusive cards are slept on but this one feels like like an incredible inclusion in token strategies.You can recover from a board wipe or double your sacrifice fodder, but it also replaces itself making it effectively a free card. #mtg

Magic Card of the Day: Abrupt Decay Comparing cards sometimes loses context. Yes other cards can hit more targets or cost less, but often this instant hits the relevant targets it needs to. Redundancy in removal is important snd sometimes that Rystic Study or Ashnod’s Altar has to be gone. #mtg

Magic Card of the Day: Archon of the Wild Rose Lord do I love the Archon creature type. They have incredible art and often have static abilities that bend the game around them. This makes all those incidental role tokens turn your 1/1 tokens into a devastating threat! #mtg

Magic Card of the Day: Orvar, the All-Form This card is so neat in the command zone that folks forget it has an effect from the hand as well. However as one of those cards that combos with any entree it’s difficult to play in lower brackets without becoming an overpowered complicated mess. #mtg

Magic Card of the Day: Pure Intentions When I say SOK is a bad set, this is what I mean. The effect of this card is interesting but the window of relevance is so narrow that it will almost never see play. It doesn’t even can trip. Great name, incredible art, unimpressive effect. #mtg

Magic Card of the Day: Wilt-Leaf Liege SHM and EVE have some great flavorful and powerful cycles but I have always liked the EVE lieges more. Like this effect of getting it for free via discard is neat but it isn’t a particularly deep card and doesn’t tell a great story about the color pair. #mtg

Magic Card of the Day: Grenzo's Rebuttal Turn order has never mattered more! The fascination I have with this effect is how it functions politically. All the choices are made on resolution so no hexproof can prevent it and ends up destroying 12 permanents for 6! (Some are yours, that’s okay) #mtg
