Magic Card of the Day: Kazuul’s Toll Collector He’s not very handsome but he does pick up all the toys your Voltron Commander left on the floor when they died to make an immediate threat. Equip costs can be pretty high so replacing all of that with 0 can be too much to stop! #mtg

Magic Card of the Day: Haunted Plate Mail Before reconfigure, there were random suits of armor like this that would only walk around if nobody was looking. I mean it costs 4 mana to put this on, so it’s unlikely anyone will wear it! At least it can attack and be a blocker post wrath? #mtg

Magic Card of the Day: Blazing Archon “Can’t” is a powerful word in Magic. It fully prevents an action and is not able to be bypassed. I do find it funny that this embodiment of justice says,” No you can’t come here” . Of course if something “enters attacking” the archon thinks that’s chill. #mtg

Magic Card of the Day: Web of Inertia Graveyards can be an incredible resource but this card makes not having any cards in it a huge liability. Graveyard hate suddenly make it so they can just watch helplessly as the web closes in around them. They can still attack your planeswalkers tho! #mtg

Magic Card of the Day: Treasure Nabber Your mana rocks? No! Our Mana Rocks! Punishing folks by using their ramp to accelerate is truly delectable. Also you get to watch as the rest of the table polices each others mana rock usage. All it takes is one Sol Ring to collapse a coalition. #mtg

Magic Card of the Day: Sigil Tracer Rattlesnakes in commander can take many forms but some folks forget how scary a copied instant or sorcery is. This lets you copy spells for every 2 mana and 2 wizards you have without limit. Sure you can cast that spell, but it’s cool if I do too right? #mtg

Magic Card of the Day: Caller of the Claw Recovering a board from a wipe can be very difficult in green. You might be able to protect a board but if that fails coming back can prove annoying. This card turns the board wipe into bears, for a crack back of nature’s wrath. #mtg

Magic Card of the Day: Batwing Brume Inkshield is amazing but leaving up 5 is often just too much mana and telegraphed. However this is only 2 and functions as a Rakdos Charm stapled to a fog. And the fog is irrelevant if the player dies before damage is dealt. Not bad for a flying mammal 🦇 #mtg
