Purely from narrative design pov I think subjective FPP works well with '77 story, genre and world. You're a mind trapped in a decaying body with only means of leaving it being through technological consciousness processing (cyberspace; soulkiller; projection into external devices; braindaces)

finished a long overdue playthrough of Detroit: BH. overall very impressive if not somewhat uneven. great breadth of choices - and damn, those crime scene investigations with Connor SLAP. but also, playing it NOW - the 'crackdown on androids' beats in Act 2 / 3 are eerily relevant--

But as a little uno reverse i'll post a comment that i think captures well the expectation conundrum we found ourselves in. The game cannot be infinite. A little exercise for everyone - for every thing you'd like to see added remove something else (from a given aspect of the game).

So would extending Act 1 (before the heist) in CP77 make the game better? 1. No it wouldn't. It's like saying we should spend more time on Tatooine with farmer Luke before he got involved with all this Jedi stuff. (1/3)
