Morning thought/annoyance: I am sure there are some good use-cases for LLMs, but summarizing documents and articles is not one of them. #Firefox just added the ability to shake your phone to summarize an article. It's a completely useless feature that removes all context from what you're reading.

In Final Fantasy Tactics if a unit gains too much faith they leave your party to go find God. Have you ever wondered what would happen if you had Beast Tongue and got a monster unit to maximum faith? Of course you haven't. No one has.

Games I Completed in 2025 #12: The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening Knocking out another annual playthrough. I absolutely adore this remake. It's a comfort game for me nowadays. I've enjoyed playing it before bed for the last week.

The new limited time #Pokemon TCG Pocket set sucks. I was excited about it. I even got some of the elusive cards I was missing...only to discover that it doesn't count toward my past set completion. 😑 I'm not planning to open any more unless they change it.

Well, I guess I got excited after all. I've been wanting Virtual Boy games re-released forever. I'm confused about the accessories required to play. I get it, but I also know that emulators already fixed it. I need more information about how playing will actually work.

Well, there's a #NintendoDirect on Friday, so I guess I'll share some thoughts. There's honestly not much that would get me really excited right now other than a brand new #Zelda game. I think we'll see some new GCN Classics and probably a Mario game. I want Ogre Battle 64 on the N64 app.

I realized today that I have played primarily older games this year. The only 2025 release I have played is Mario Kart World. I might play Kirby Air Riders, Metroid Prime 4, and/or Hyrule Warriors depending on release dates, but I'm not really hyped for any new games right now.

I've been rewatching Pokemon: Indigo League for the last few months. Ash vs Richie is probably the lamest battle in the entire series. They hype it up as "we'll have the best battle ever" and then it's over in 5 minutes because Pikachu is too tired and Charizard falls asleep.

I just watched the #KirbyAirRiders Direct. It looks great! The original is one of my favorite GameCube games. The only disappointing announcement is that City Trial still only has one map. I hope they add more as DLC. We're probably not getting a third game, and I'd like this one to last.

I played the demo for #TheAdventuresOfElliot. Huge thumbs up from me! I'm excited for this game! It's a really solid third-party #Zelda style game. I think it's plays very well; it's very fun. My only criticism is that the demo was missing a unique feature/item that made it stand out.
