I don't really have many thoughts on the discourse that I've been seeing around lately besides generally agreeing that I don't think theirs such thing as misogyny free stories just that some stories make it a more overt topic. I also don't think people should strive to write misogyny free f/f.

finished "as many souls as stars" for the first book I read this year and wow was it a wild one and fantastic. I didn't really look into it a ton going in so I didn't know a ton of what to expect but it went places I really didn't expect it to 100% a great read if you like dark codependent dynamics

yeah stuff like this is why I'm moving to just using lesbian/ wlw for my books and yuri for my vns the intent around sapphic as a marketing term was good but god was is warped to mean literally anything instead of being a clear and easy way to find genuinely wlw focused stories.

I have a lot of thoughts of how this year went for me, and I'm gonna make a more long form post about it by the end of the year, but long story short feels weird that I technically became and indie game dev before I published any of my other writing.

I really like the new frankenstein movie but I also think its a massive missed opportunity to make the monster a woman it would have fit the themes gdt was going for very well.
