It was a pleasure to work on this project with our ID pharmacist colleagues. AI has a lot of potential in this space, especially with the basic interpretation of data, but still needs human guidance to work through the complexities of patient management. Looking forward to doing more of this!

There needs to be a better understanding that when it comes to patients who report STI exposures, providers need to treat first and any testing is just confirmatory. This is especially true if the patient has already been hard to contact and get in for clinic follow-up. #IDSky
