Tried out Laravel Cloud with a little App I made, inspired by @keithdamiani.com 's Laracon AU talk. Laravel Cloud is a no brainer for staging and testing, cost me less than $0.10.

In the next few weeks we'll be kicking off work on new Laravel starter kits. Here's what I'm thinking... I don't think the starter kits should be packages. Instead, I think they should just be GitHub repositories you clone. All of the code lives in your application, no "install" commands. 🔨

🔥 Are you testing something generically about eloquent models that you don't want to tie to a specific model in your app? Slap a fake Model class at the bottom of your test. And if you need it to have a table for your test, put the migration in a static method and call it in `beforeEach`
