The history of mega evolutions in the Pokémon series is so funny. It was a perfect idea -- take the Pokémon that people already like and give them awesome, new redesigns that make them look bigger and fiercer. But that requires a lot of work -- they're pretty much entirely new designs...

I enjoy The Talos Principle II very much, but after a series of puzzles, my brain goes on strike and refuses to even look at the next puzzle. Take a break, and I'm back to it just as I was before, but there's a noticeable hard boundary in how many puzzles I am able to solve in one sitting.

Wicked: For Good was so lethargic. Every scene feels needlessly stretched out. It was fighting an uphill battle already with lesser songs compared to the first half, so editing it in such a sleepy way is puzzling.

We should be calling out the huge blindspots to international games in English games media, but we should also not ignore the fact that with video games we are already pretty damn global, especially compared to, say, the Oscars. This is not all the way there but it's a decent start!
